13th Primary School is a central school in the town of Rethimno in Crete with 280 students aged from 6 to 12 years old and 30 teachers who teach different subjects. The school implements programs that promote sustainability, health care and culture similarly below: * Frixos” a program about sexual health in early childhood organized by the Greek Ministry of Education * “The food we waste” is an environmental program that aims to raise awareness about wise food management and promote the idea of active citizenship through various actions the students carry out. * “Hold my hand and I will hold yours” a program that intends to raise awareness on issues of special needs and diversity. Through educational programs the school wants students to develop a critical thinking, to enhance students’ skills, to accept diversity and build a democratic consciousness. As a school unit, 13th Primary School has done great effort to catch up with the advances in the field of education and open up to the local community and to the exhange of good practises. Over the last few years, school teachers employ the Etwinning platform to establish partnerships and coooperations with other European Schools in short or longer projects.

"The Direzione didattica III° circolo “B.Bonsignore” school is in Mazara del vallo a city at west of sicily island rich for story and culture. The school includes two types of schools: 27 classes in primary and 12 classes in pre-primary. It is structured on 6 complexes spread. The school population is about 600 students from 3 to 12. The staff is very attentive to the inclusion of children with special needs and disabilities. In school there are more than "special" students distributed in all classes by age group with the support of specialized teachers. In recent years, the increase of students coming from the Maghreb and from non-European countries has been significant and has favoured an educative offered based on multicultural values. On the didactic level, the school has developed in the years highly distinguished teaching skills able to equip pupils with basic solid competences - subjects-based as well as transversal- essential to engage their future education path successfully. It has been moving for years in view of the European dimension in education, in this context, a great number of strategies have been implemented until recently foreign language competences and to endow school with new technologies devices and to improve it structurally.

Agrupamento de Escolas Trigal de Santa Maria, Tadim/PORTUGAL

Agrupamento de Escolas Trigal de Santa Maria school is located in a small city called Tadim in a semi-rural area, next to a large city called Braga in the north of Portugal. It has approximately 870 students and 63 teachers between the ages of 3-15. Students receive education from kindergarten to 9th grade primary school. Most students come from this rural area and generally have families working in fields and small family industries. Some of the students have divorced parents, and a few are orphans. Almost 8% of students need special education. The school has very few students from other countries (Ukraine, Cabo Verde, France) and also Roma students. Portuguese teacher support is provided to help immigrant students deal with language difficulties. Most students strive to interact with students from other nations and even refugees. The school has a tradition of participation and winning projects, especially in the fields related to science, new technologies and languages.

“Colegiul National de Informatica Matei Basarab” School is in Valcea, Romania, founded in 1914, is an secondary school providing the national curriculum to girls and boys aged 6-19. Unique amongst Valcea County schools, all of our teachers are experiencedin teaching the national curriculum. Monitored and inspected by the Valcea County School Inspectorate, the National College of Informatics 'Matei Basarab' provides an education of the highest quality. With increasing globalisation it is becoming even more important for parents to be able to secure a high standard of education and the national curriculum and its values remain as highly regarded as ever. Ambitious and passionate students have participated in various English competitions as Mac Millan and have won different awards. Extracurricular activities complete the content of education and training and are organized according to the interests of the students; children's development and scientific content have a positive impact on cultural, artistic, humane, ecological, moral, civil and technical. On the other hand, the regional economy is low in employment in the region, which is a fact that can affect the lives of school students. There are many disadvantaged students in the school. For this reason, the school's curriculum is carefully designed, teaching - education is student-centered, and age, interests and abilities of students are respected

Yedi Kuyular Ä°lkokulu

Antalya/TURKEY

Yedi Kuyular Ä°lkokulu is a public primary school located in Antalya Kepez, where children aged 5-11. It has 695 students. Besides the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, there are Preschool and Special Education classes. In addition, there is a computer class, a laboratory, a Z-library, an English class, Guidance and Counseling Service, children's playgrounds. The Mind Games class is actively used, an instructor from the public education center gives Mind Games training at different times each week. The school, which aims to develop and place Mind Games in curricula, attaches importance to cooperation and communication with other organizations. Yedi Kuyular Primary School, with its 19 Class Teachers, 6 Preschoolers, 2 Special Education, 1 English, 1 Religion, 1 School Counselling teachers and other staff, have sufficient equipment to carry out the project activities, has the ambition of motivation and team work. Classrooms have Smart Boards, Wi-Fi and basic materials for education. The school has applied various project programs in the past years and continues to improve itself in this field despite the fact that any project has not been approved by the lack of budget. The school staff voluntarily participate in various project trainings and want to make progress in Erasmus + projects. The school has adopted the principle of preparing a collaborative, modern, mutually understanding working environment.
